We love getting letters. Below are thoughts from a few people who have attended past festivals. We appreciate them sharing their experiences with us and we'd love to hear from you!  Send us your favorite memories.

Just wanted to let you know that my youth group had a great time
last Saturday despite the weather and the mud and all.  Sometimes it is all about your attitude.  We went into the day figuring it was all lost so anything we got out of it was gravy - I'm blessed to have had a group of girls with great attitudes who could see the joy of just hanging out together.  They all got wet and muddy, but they're flexible, they survived and we are all looking forward to next year.  I'd really like to share a little sunshine about our experience - the sun is always there, sometimes you just have to look a little harder to find it.  Our youth group motto is "It's all about the dash"  - meaning, it doesn't really matter when you were born or when you  die, the important thing is what you do and how you live between those two dates, as in the dash or hyphen found on tombstones between the birth and death years.
Well, I've rambled enough, take care and God bless.

My husband, daughter, and I did brave the weather conditions
on that day and decided we would make the best of the situation. We have an 11 year old daughter and I have always traveled through life telling her to “feel the moment.” Rain or sun, I felt there was a memory to be made and we were going to the concert. While standing in the field that day, it was quite difficult to hold on to my umbrella with the blowing rain. My plan, if I bend down a little and tuck my head up into the wire frame of the umbrella I might be able to keep the wind from blowing me into my family. Little did I know my husband and daughter gave me the name, “The Dancing Mushroom” as they laughed and watched my umbrella go up and down seeing only my legs. I believe God has a plan and purpose even through the storms in our lives. While doing a creative writing project with my daughter I put my thoughts about the concert in writing:  Freedom to worship in the field. The excitement was building as the rain was coming down. Revelation Generation in Frenchtown, NJ. The weather was windy with pouring rain as hurricane Ernesto passed through NJ. We had hoped there would be an improvement but, the Heavens continued to pour out Heavenly rain. Our first activity was to join the crowd under the vendor’s tent. We felt a false sense of safety because we knew the rawness of the weather was waiting for us. We came to worship in music, and that worship meant braving the storm. Umbrellas open, hoods up, we made our way back into the path of the hurricane. We could see and hear our destination. We braved the storm and blended in with the other brave souls who worshiped in the field. Crazy thing – The storm that we traveled through, was the same storm that we worshiped in. We never found refuge from the storm, we worshiped in the storm. We made it to our destination but, never out of the storm. I am thrilled we experienced the day! On the other side of the umbrella there really was a “Dancing Mushroom.”  On the human side, yes, it was disappointing that we didn’t hear the bands we came to see. On the spiritual side, we had an awesome family experience. A great day! The Lord blessed my daughter with winning tickets to a concert that she really wanted to go to but, the family funds just were not there. When ever she would talk about wanting to go, I quietly talked to the Lord and said He knows my daughter’s heart. She’s a great girl who mowed the lawn all summer for Dad, offers to clean the bathroom for Mom, makes homemade fruit smoothies for the family, and wears red on Good Friday to remember the Blood of our Lord and Savior. I can’t thank you enough for honoring the tickets towards next year’s concert. My daughter is thrilled! She enjoyed hearing KJ 52, and can’t wait to hear Brian Littrell and the Newsboys next year. The concert gave us a great family memory, and the dancing mushroom reminds us that we can find joy and refuge while going through the storms of our lives – if we stay close to Christ.  Thanks again and God’s blessing to you.Joyfully,
Sandy G-

I received your tickets for the 2007 Revelation Generation Event today. I was happy to get the replacements at no cost, and I do look forward to bringing my youth group. We were one of the hopelessly optimistic groups from the 2006 event.  We traveled down from Morris Co & Essex Co because our detailed weather report from your area stated “…with pockets of clearing” J. It was so funny but while the chaperones were huddled under the vendor tent, our youth group was out from under cover - wallowing in the mud, standing in the pouring rain in front of the stage area, having “puddle splashing contests” (a Tide commercial if I ever saw one) and frolicking joyfully like a bunch of looney tunes all over the place. One girl lost her sandal in the mud (it swallowed it right up), a few kids washed their cell phones (left in muddy jean pockets), my van was covered in dirt - from floors to seats, and we were all soaked head to toe, but it’s one of our fondest youth group memories. We brought an un-churched 17 year old boy from Long Island who was visiting one of our group members, and he still mentions that he wants to go again next year (which is now this year).  I realize that you all must have been terribly disappointed considering the extensive planning that goes into an event of this magnitude. You’re also taking a major hit financially by sending replacement tickets to everyone free of charge. I just wanted to say thank you and that your commitment to the cause is obviously a reflection of your devotion to our Lord. May Heavenly Father richly bless the work of your bands. I know I’ll be lifting you up to Him in prayer tonight.
In Christ,

Despite the rain my 15 year old daughter, her two friends and I had a wonderful time.  It was very inspirational.  We can't wait to go back in 2007.

I just wanted to commend you for what a great job you did with the festival.  It's a shame the weather was so bad, but I really think you and your staff still got out a very important message not only the day of the event but in preparation for it.  Partnering with the ministries, getting a huge presence on radio, the billboards, I'm sure many people were saved as a result of these promotional efforts.

I just wanted to say that you did an amazing job with the festival.  It's a blessing for me to be just a small part of it.  It's all "For His Glory" and I know that the angels were singing and dancing when the kids came to know Christ on that special rainy day!!! May you continue to keep your faith and hope on these wonderful yearly events!!!!

Working backstage at Revelation Generation was such an experience and one that will be with me for many years to come. I have never been to a concert where before the bands took the stage they prayed that the Lord would speak through them to bring people to Christ. I could really feel the Lord working at Revelation Generation and in Frenchtown. I can not wait to see what the Lord has in store for Revelation Generation this year, and for the many years to come.

The flagship year, 2005, of Rev Gen was incredible!   The music and the message were awesome.  Lives were changed.  Revelation Generation is going to be an event that for the unforeseen future will change the hearts and the minds of the younger generation and therefore have an impact on all of NJ and beyond.  More importantly it will have a spiritual impact on everyone who attends and in fact change lives for eternity.

I brought my daughter, Samara and niece, Sharaya to the first Revelation Generation last year and am thrilled that I did. I'd attended the first five Creation festivals...not as a Christian, but as part of the rigging and sound crew so I am familiar with the beginnings of these types of events and those early days of Creation were instrumental in my salvation as I recalled much of the Word that was shared in spoken word and in song by those there to minister. In light of the comparison that I can offer between the first Creation and the first Revelation Generation I can safely say....Frenchtown, brace yourself for a flood of people and the gospel once a year.
It was very encouraging and exciting to see the repsonse and crowd at Revelation Generation last year and we will be there again this year, but in much larger numbers. My entire family and nearly 100 people from my own and a few nearby churches will be attending and are already anxiously looking forward to it.  All involved did a wonderful job presenting a very professional environment for the artists and a comfortable and friendly one for the crowd.  One thing I ask, though, let's pray for a slightly cooler day this year!

Being at Revelation Generation was the highlight of my summer. It was exciting to see young people drawn from all over New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The atmosphere was a well-needed breath of life; I believe a good thing has been birthed in Frenchtown, New Jersey. I can't wait to see what it will grow into and become.
