“Unassuming” may just be the perfect word to describe Pennsylvania born August Burns Red. It’s no wonder with boy-next-door looks and ages ranging from 18-21 that audiences tend to be perplexed by ABR’s musical style, which makes their metal onslaught all the more captivating. Formed in March of 2003, ABR almost instantly began turning heads with their undeniable talent and knack for writing catchy licks with a tight rhythm section to match. Now entering the studio with veteran producer Adam Dutkiewicz, August Burns Red’s Solid State debut, “Thrill Seeker,” is slated for release this November.
